Z

To partner with local colleges and universities to encourage interest in preparing candidates for the field of special education;

Z

To establish a means of communication and support among administrators of special education programs.

At its very core, LIASEA is an organization that believes, supports, and fosters the idea of inclusion. Having been founded on the idea to strengthen special education programs, LIASEA is committed to equality and inclusion inside the classroom. However, this idea is not limited to just schools.

Our organization is dedicated to those same principles for our members in the educational field. We at LIASEA celebrate the diversity of our members and encourage them to engage, learn and grow as the most genuine individuals they can be. It is our mission to create an environment where our members are free to explore and develop into their authentic selves as educators. Thus creating a more diversified learning environment for all.
